Power BI – Banking Analytics Dashboard (FP20 Analytics Challenge 27)
This project was developed as part of the FP20 Analytics Challenge 27, where I built a comprehensive 3-page dashboard in Power BI to analyze banking performance across transaction types, customer segments, and geographical branches. The goal was to uncover business insights and customer behavior patterns that could drive strategic financial decisions.
Tools Used: Power BI, DAX, ZoomCharts, Custom Visuals
Data Scope: Customer transactions, revenue types, channel usage (2023–2025)
Key Features:
Interactive persona analysis segmented by income group, customer score, and product preferences
Branch-wise transaction heatmap with regional growth trends
Channel and seasonal trends visualized to track peaks, dips, and platform shifts
Used over 35 DAX measures to compute totals, averages, percentages, and ranking logic
Key Insights:
Middle-income users accounted for the highest transaction volume and revenue
Mobile and online banking channels dominated with 40%+ combined usage
Strategic seasonal trends and peaks were identified for revenue optimization
💡 This project demonstrates my ability to build layered analytics reports using advanced DAX, smart UI design, and insight-driven storytelling in Power BI.
